Before he spent his days recording movies and visiting taleshows, Channing Tatum was a humble stripper who was eager to keep his job a secret. (Magic Mike from 2012 was solely based on the actor’s life experiences.) Luckily, he seemed to work fine until he became a big movie star, and his father found out his previous career because of Ellen DeGeneres.

Tatum gæst-vært Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday, and while he was there, he spoke to Ellen about how his secret came out and how his father felt about it.
